For the well - being of the entertainer and guests, there must be at least one adult with the performer and the children at all times. Must be 1 adult for every 2 children 2 years & under. Parent will be billed accordingly if equipment or costumes are damaged due to lack of supervision.

Having the entertainment (magic especially) indoors is preferred. There can be a lot of distractions outside and variables in the weather can interrupt with an activity or magic trick. In the summer months, the performer must have adequate shade provided if the event is outdoors.
Please keep control of your pets in order to keep the performer from harm and the costumes from damage.

Tell me of any special conditions or allergies any of the children may have so I can handle it accordingly. Inform guests’ parents if there will be face painting.
Decide ahead of time where you would like the performer to entertain, and make sure that area is clear of obstacles.

For magic, an area where she can stand in front of a wall or a corner is best, to make sure that everyone is sitting or standing in front of her. Parental control is important here. If anyone gets behind the performer or tries to handle the props, (adults included!) the performance will be jeopardized. If the performer must be surrounded, please let us know at least a day before the party and the show will be adjusted accordingly.

If possible, provide performer with a "secret" entry and exit, so the kids don't see me getting out of a car or driving away. If she could magically appear in a room of the house/party place, even better! This is mostly a concern with the fairy and mermaid, characters with a costume change.

Set aside a small amount of time for photos to be taken, if you like.

Have a highlight such as cake or presents right after the performance, to take attention away from performer‘s departure and put the focus back on you and the party.

Remember to address performer by character name - try not to say "so Angela, how much do I owe you" in front of the kids. They may (hopefully) really believe that character is real, and their belief in magic is the best part of the event. Payment in an envelope with the character’s name is a good idea.

The $50 deposit is nonrefundable 3 weeks before the booking. Rescheduling is an option.

Most importantly, have fun! Feel free to sit down and enjoy the show.
